WARRANTY

This applies to dealings with TripLogik only, please see distributor’s web site for more local information.

WHO IS COVERED?
Only the original purchaser of the TripLogik TL1000 device is covered.

WHAT IS THE WARRANTY PERIOD?
The warranty begins on the date you purchased the TripLogik TL1000 product and lasts for one year.When the warranty on the original product expires, the warranty on any replacement product also expires.

WHAT IS EXCLUDED?
Your warranty does not cover:Product damage caused by normal wear and tear.Product damage caused by tampering, misuse, accident, abuse, neglect, improper installation, misapplication, failure to adhere to the maximum and minimum ratings, alteration of any kind, disaster, or defects due to repairs or modifications made by anyone other than Carbon14 Innovations/Triplogik or an authorized service representative of TripLogik. The physical damage of any nature whatsoever incurred to the Product, including any opening or attempted opening of the Product. Reception problems due to inappropriate mounting, loss of mapping services due to lack of 3rd party services. This Limited Warranty constitutes the final, complete and exclusive statement of warranty terms, and no other person or entity is authorized to make any other warranties or representations on behalf of Carbon14 Innovations Inc / TripLogik

WHAT IS THE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY?
The Limited Warranty is for the benefit of the original purchaser who first enables the TL1000 product and shall not create or evidence any right in any third party.

THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TripLogik/ Triplogik OR ANY RESELLER, DEALER OR DISRIBUTOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES OR LOST PROFITS WHATSOEVER ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT, OR FOR ANY BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF CARBON14 INNOVATIONS INC / TRIPLOGIK HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES OR SUCH DAMAGES COULD REASONABLY HAVE BEEN FORESEEN BY CARBON14 INNOVATIONS INC / TRIPLOGIK.

WHAT ARE THE WARRANTY LIMITATIONS? TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CARBON14 INNOVATIONS INC/ TRIPLOGIK DISCLAIMS, AND YOU EXPRESSLY WAIVE, ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS OF ANY KIND OR NATURE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE TERM OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE FOREGOING EXPRESS WARRANTY PERIOD.

RMA Conditions and Return Instructions

Please do not return any product without an RMA number as it will not be accepted and the courier will return it.

Client must agree to the conditions.

  1. Package the product in a  properly protected container ( like the original box) Place the RMA number on the box. The item must be in good condition and should be accompanied by all its parts and accessories ( for list of included parts, please consult appendix A at the end of this document)

    This is a Postal Office Box (PO Box) taking care of returns and warranties. Please verify your courier can deliver to a PO Box.
    we suggest that you use the postal services with tracking. If no postal services are available. please contact us. Full address and phone number MUST be used.
  3. If Duty declaration is needed, declare as “defective return for repair”
  4. Send back the TL1000 and the ODB cable ( big square power cable), USB cable, and accessories.
  5. For your protection, we suggest you properly insure your package and ask for some minimum tracking of delivery. This is at the client’s discretion.
  6. Any lost or returned packages will be the sole responsibility of the sender. Triplogik will not be responsible if the sender uses a wrong address, or if a courier that cannot deliver to the above mentioned address.
  7. Please note that customers are responsible for expenses on returns of articles.
  8. Triplogik will be responsible for expenses to ship back replacements or repaired units by accelerated mail services if under warranty. 
  9. If this is a return for refund, all the parts need to be returned in order to get a full refund. Triplogik reserves the right to return units to the customers if there are missing parts or deduct the value of the missing parts from the total to be refunded, using the full retail value of the parts missing.
  10. RMA for return must be sent within 10 days of the date it was issued.  Customer not returning the product within this 10 day period, will have their RMA cancelled and return will no longer be possible. The date used will be the postmark on the shipping way-bill. Please note slow shipping will not penalize the customer.
  11. RMA for returns will be granted only according to the sales and refund policy if within the 30 day trial period.
  12. Failure to comply with any of the above may void the RMA
  13. By reading and using this RMA number, the client understands, agrees and accept the RMA conditions.

Appendix A
Every box is weighted at the factory to ensure there are never any missing item

Part included in every box are

  1. TL1000 mileage logger
  2. OBD power supply
  3. USB cable
  4. Sticky pad  ( not required if it was used)

Please note that any product return or communication to this addresse without a valid RMA will not be accepted and returned to sender.
